Join us for a day-trip adventure on the beautiful Chestatee River near Dahlonega. We'll take canoes and kayaks down a gentle section of the river and experience the beauty and wildlife of springtime in the North Georgia mountains. We'll spend around 2.5 hrs on the river and return in the mid-afternoon. Beginners will be paired with the more experienced in the canoes, and students comfortable paddling will go in kayaks through gentle rapids that don't exceed Class I. Lunch is provided--we'll take a break at a beach on the river.
