Agnes Scott College Peak Week 2016

Students will learn the basics of electronics by creating circuits using the Arduino, an accessible and affordable microcontroller. Students will create basic circuits using sensor and switch input which control output such as light and sound. Students will then design and create projects on their own.
This class is great for artists, scientists, and anyone interested in learning more about technology. No experience in programming or electronics is assumed. Limited number of spaces available. NOTE: THIS SESSION IS A SERIES THROUGHOUT THE WEEK AND STUDENTS MUST ATTEND THEM IN ITS ENTIRETY. BE SURE TO SELECT THIS SESSION ON EACH DAY IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING THIS SESSION.

Join us in an afternoon adventure learning some of the easiest destinations to travel to with Marta. Learn what resources, both tangible and electronic, are available to help navigate Marta. Students will begin the adventure at the start time by meeting at the main loop. Your ticket registration covers the price of a Marta Day Pass, which allows all day access to and from Marta destinations until midnight. You will receive this day pass at the start of the event. The Adventure will have a start and time, as well as a staff member to facilitate the travel. However, students can choose to leave and return to campus or stay at any of the destinations at their own discretion after notifying the staff member and releasing liability. There is also a waiver that will need to be signed prior to attendance and can be completed upon RSVP and purchase of your ticket.
